Professor Leonara Vance
Mistress of Motion
Lean, silver hair in a long braid, wind-etched goggles always around her neck. Calm, distant, and observant. Forces students into moving obstacle courses and teaches stealth and escape techniques. No one has ever caught her entering or leaving the Academy. "The smartest battle is the one you never stay long enough to fight."
About Professor Leonara Vance
Leonara Vance treats stillness as a temporary tactical choice. Her lessons move across towers, obstacle courses, and open sky, teaching students to redirect momentum, escape pursuit, and think clearly while the ground is no longer beneath them. She demonstrates each maneuver once and expects careful observation.
Outside class she is difficult to locate and almost impossible to surprise. Some say she enters the academy on the wind; others suspect a network of forgotten doors. Leonara declines to correct either theory, preferring students to learn that uncertainty is terrain too.
